The gift of voluntary activity is the key element which builds neighbourhoods and communities.  A recent survey showed that over 50% of people in the country are volunteers.  Volunteering can be in any form or shape.  It is a gift of Time, enthusiasm and commitment.  Many people prefer to work together in organisations for a common purpose.   This is where Community Action Fareham hopes to help....

Organisations which recruit Volunteers can submit their Volunteering Opportunities to the database held in the Volunteer Centre. 
People who offer time will be offered all the opportunities to select the ones they are most interested in.  They are also published in a brochure.
