MiDAS (Minibus
Drivers Awareness Scheme) Training
MiDAS
MiDAS was originally developed by Hampshire
County Council (HCC), is now administered nationally by
Community Transport Association UK (CTAUK) and
provides organisations with the means to assess and train
all their minibus drivers.
Hampshire County
Council (HCC) and most voluntary organisations require their
drivers to hold a
current MiDAS certificate before driving
their minibuses.
There are significant legislative
requirements. The HCC 'Welcome to MiDAS' webpage is comprehensive;
