Two examples of where reference to the COMPACT has helped achieve a better agreement.
Fareham Borough Council Community Grants Programme
Following feedback from voluntary groups about the closing date for the community grants programme, the Executive has agreed to change the closing date to November 30th to offer more support for applicants.
Community Safety Partnership
Where the Partnership has to end funding to voluntary organisations they have agreed to work in the spirit of the COMPACT to give recipients:
i. the maximum amount of notice
ii. reason for the funding cessation
iii. signpost them to other possible
funding alternatives.
